Freddy Svane is a seasoned diplomat with over 40 years of experience in international relations, including serving as Denmark’s Ambassador to India (2010-2015 & 2019-2024) and Japan (2005-2008 & 2015-2019). He brings deep expertise in geopolitics, global affairs, and sustainable development, advising organizations on strategy, partnerships, and navigating complex international landscapes. Freddy will be instrumental in guiding the Indo-Danish Business Council’s strategic initiatives, fostering strong bilateral trade relations, and creating opportunities for Danish and Indian businesses to collaborate effectively.
Dr. Lalit Bhasin, President of the Society of Indian Law Firms and immediate past President of the Bar Association of India, is a distinguished legal veteran with over 60 years of service. He chairs the Indian branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is the only Indian Honorary Life Member of the International Bar Association. He also leads the CII Task Force on Legal Services.
His many honors include the Plaque of Honour from the Prime Minister of India (2002), the National Law Day Award from the President of India (2007), the UK–India Legal Partnership Lifetime Achievement Award (2022), and several recognitions in 2023, including awards from Legal Era, APCAM, ASSOCHAM, and honorary doctorates from Amity University and GD Goenka University. He continues to be celebrated for his remarkable contributions to the legal profession.

Mr. Sudhir Mishra is one of India’s foremost media, broadcasting, and environmental lawyers, and the Founder & Managing Partner of Trust Legal—ranked by RSG Consulting among India’s top law firms and three-time winner of Environment Law Firm of the Year. With over three decades of experience across telecom, infrastructure, healthcare, and environmental regulation, he has represented major corporates before the Supreme Court, High Courts, the National Green Tribunal, and key regulatory bodies.
He also serves as a Door Tenant at No5 Barristers’ Chambers, UK, reflecting his international legal standing. A U.S. State Department IVLP alumnus, he has co-chaired the New York State Bar Association (India Chapter) and sits on the advisory boards of Business World and Exchange4Media. A widely respected commentator, his opinions and articles have been featured in leading publications including The Hindu, Hindustan Times, The Economic Times, and India Today.
Mr. Subhrangshu Neogi is a former CXO turned entrepreneur with over three decades of leadership across CPG, retail, telecom, financial services, and more. He partners with founders, boards, and business leaders to incubate, scale, and transform businesses—operating at the strategic intersection of marketing, business development, and digital innovation.
An award-winning industry thought leader, he is known for his practical, hands-on approach to solving complex challenges. His cross-category experience in both high-growth startups and large corporations gives him a rare, multi-dimensional perspective, strengthened by deep involvement in the early-stage ecosystem.
Guided by his “EPIC” philosophy—Energy, Passion, Insight, Curiosity—Subhrangshu brings a distinctive blend of strategic clarity and execution focus. He is also a tech enthusiast with a love for fusion food, travel, and digital innovation.
Rajat Pandey leads strategic efforts to strengthen innovation-led and sustainable business collaboration between India and Denmark. With a PhD in Biological Sciences and a career spanning research, technology, and business development, he brings a rare blend of scientific depth and strategic acumen to cross-border partnerships.
At IDBC, he drives Nordic partnerships, business development, and strategic consulting—helping companies scale through innovation, investment, and industry–academia collaboration within the framework of the India–Denmark Green Strategic Partnership.
Prior to IDBC, Rajat worked at the intersection of science, entrepreneurship, and commercialization, supporting research-driven organizations in translating technology into real-world impact. His approach is rooted in evidence-based strategy, long-term relationship building, and a strong commitment to sustainability and responsible growth.
